Basically, the lavender is known to be native to Asia, but it is widely spread in the Western regions. Today, there are many perfume makers that use the essential oil of Lavender to enhance the freshness of a perfume. The Lavender has different purposes in the beauty and the cosmetic industry. This plant is also used in the aromatherapy and the medicine, because of its aromatherapy and health benefits.
Even the lightest concentration of lavender deliver a soft and pleasant aroma, and is used for very light fragrances, for example the Lavender water or the Lavender cologne. Also, this flavor could be used to refresh the air and have antiseptic benefits.

If you want to make your own perfume, the smell of lavender is a good choice. Actually, the process of making a homemade perfume of lavender is simple and easy. First, you have to buy an essential oil of lavender - a small bottle is enough, actually only several drops are required. Second, you need an alcohol, for example pure vodka or rubbing alcohol – half a cup. Third, you need a distilled water – about a cup.

Then, add the water to the alcohol, and put the whole liquid in a large cup. Then mix well and add a few drops of the Lavender essential oil. Mix everything again and let stand for about a 24 hours in a dark and cool place. A good idea is to put your homemade perfume of Lavender in small spraying bottles, and enjoy it. Spray it wherever you want - handbag, clothes, chairs, cupboards, or you can just refresh the air.

The Lavender fragrance is a light and fresh scent and even act as a stress reducing. Moreover, the Lavender scent offer some aromatherapy benefits, such as balancing and soothing. The homemade perfume of lavender could be used all year round, and when the bottle is empty - just make another one.
